Shubhankar seals spot for The Open

DUBAI: Spain’s Jon Rahm won the DP World Tour Golf Championship by two shots and a winner’s purse of 2.89mn euros on Sunday. Northern Ireland’s Rory Mcilroy was fourth but the world No 1 topped the Race to Dubai Merit list. India’s Shubhankar Sharma came tied 44th but finished 29th in the Race to
