NIA MOVES TOP COURT AGAINST BAIL GRANTED TO TELTUMBDE

NEW DELHI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday moved the Supreme Court against a recent Bombay high court order granting bail to Anand Teltumbde, who is an accused in the Elgar Parishad case. While the high court granted relief to Teltumbde on November 18, it stayed its order for a week so that the NIA could approach the Supreme Court. This means that Teltumbde is still in jail.
