IFFI DAY 4: INDIAN PANORAMA FILMS IN THE SPOTLIGHT
PANAJI: A collection of six international and Indian films are competing for the “Best Debut Feature Film of a Director” in the 53rd edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) — which ran for its fourth day on Wednesday.
The day saw screenings under the feature films section of the “Indian Panorama” as well as conversations with veteran actor Anupam Kher.
Among the contenders for the best debut by a director award is Siya, which deals with horrors faced by sexual crimes survivors.
Director Manish Mundra said it was an “honest effort to showcase the real side of life”.
Speaking during an interaction later, Kher spoke about his process while working on The Kashmir Files.
