AAP MARKS 10TH ANNIV: ‘LOVE, WORK BROUGHT US HERE,’ SAYS CM

NEW DELHI: Formed in the backdrop of the Anna Hazareled anti-corruption movement, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) marked its 10th foundation day on Saturday.

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted: “Aam Aadmi Party has become synonymous with hope and faith for the entire nation. We will become a national party very soon. The party has achieved several milestones in the country’s history only in a span of 10 years. It is a result of the immense love given by people and hard work of our party workers.”

“It was on this day 10 years ago that AAP was establishe­d. With the immense love from the people of this country and the hard work of our party workers, in the last 10 years, the party has created many histories in Indian politics. This is a political party to which the people of the country have given their trust. Very soon, with another historic victory, AAP is going to become a national party.”

Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia on the occasion said, “With more than 1,100 elected representa­tives, our vision has become the country’s only hope.”
