CM: CARRY OUT TESTING TO OPTIMUM CAPACITY
Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday expressed satisfaction over the conducting of 1.2 crore Covid-19 tests in the state up till now and said testing should be carried out to the optimum capacity.
He said effective arrangements should be made for treatment of patients, taking all the precautions, and a strict vigil be maintained at every level to break the chain of Covid-19.
Yogi was reviewing the unlock-5 situation at a meeting here.
He said virtual ICUs should be run for L-3 Covid hospitals from the SGPGI and for L-2 Covid hospitals from KGMU in Lucknow. He said with this arrangement, senior doctors of these medical institutes may be consulted for treatment of Covid-19 patients admitted to Covid hospitals.
The chief minister said integrated command and control centres should be active and added that measures to check spread of Covid-19 should be extensively publicized. He said public address systems should be used at prominent public places besides making use of other means of publicity.
He said anti-larva chemicals should be sprayed, along with carrying out cleaning and sanitization work, in all the areas of the state under the cleaning and sanitization campaign. He said this campaign should be closely monitored to ensure results at the ground level.
Yogi directed that arrangements be made for smooth supply of power keeping in view the forthcoming festival season. He said action should be taken to keep the prices of pulses and vegetables under control and supply of essential commodities smooth and also at reasonable prices.
