Action plan for govt staff
Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday asked officials to increase the number of Covid-19 tests and further strengthen medical systems at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI), the King George’s Medical University (KGMU) and the Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS) in Lucknow.
While reviewing the unlock-5 situation at a high level meeting at his Lok Bhawan office here, he asked additional chief secretary (health) Amit Mohan Prasad to ensure bringing about an improvement in Covid recovery rate in Ayodhya, Varanasi and Sitapur. The chief minister expressed satisfaction over 44% decline in Covid positive cases in UP over the past 26 days and asked for district-wise monitoring of recovery rate.
He said people should be encouraged to strictly follow the Covid-19 protocol and be educated about protection and safety measures as more activities will be started soon, taking the unlock process ahead. Public address system, along with other means of communication, should be used for the purpose, said Yogi. The CM said programmes should be organised in districts from October 16 to distribute appointment letters to nearly 31,000 assistant teachers.
“Programmes should also organised in every district from October 17 for Mission Shakti awareness campaign for security and safety of women and girls. Public representatives and ministers in-charge of respective districts should be invited for both the programmes,” he added.
Yogi Adityannth asked all the departments to submit their action plan for women’s security by Tuesday. He said active participation of all sections of society should be ensured in Mission Shakti campaign, adding that programmes for women’s security should be organised in commercial institutions and MSME units as well.
These programmes should be appropriately publicised. Stickers
should be put up and helpline numbers should be released for the purpose, he said. He said public representatives should also be connected with the special cleanliness and sanitisation campaign and effective action should be taken to control retail prices of vegetables and pulses.
Chief minister Yogi Adityanath asked for working out an action plan for state government employees on the pattern of union government’s stimulus package providing for special festival advance to be given to government employees in view of forthcoming festival season.
