BRICK KILN WORKER KILLED IN ROAD MISHAP

A 35-year-old brick kiln worker was killed after being hit by a speeding truck on Shaheed Path near Sushant Golf City area on Wednesday evening, police said. According to police, the deceased, Kesu, with other kiln workers were going in a tractor laden with bricks. The tractor stopped because of some technical fault near Sushant Golf city at around 3pm. When they were trying to fix it, a speeding truck hit them from behind. Kesu was severely injured and was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. The driver and cleaner of the truck fled from the scene. Police have lodged a case against them and started the investigation.
