Reviewing the Covid19 situation, Yogi says to break the infection chain, all effective measures that the state government adopted must continue
Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday asked all districts to review the implementation of UP Workers and Labourers’ Employment Commission’s instructions before he himself does a state-level review.
The commission was formed for providing employment to workers and labourers who returned to the state following lockdown.

According to a government press release, Yogi said: “Any laxity and negligence in handling Covid might cost dearly.”
He added that to break the infection chain, all effective measures that the state government adopted must continue along with an intensive campaign to make people aware
about Covid safety.
“For the forthcoming festivities, a large number of people are going to markets. Considering this, focus should be on testing of various groups of people. Ensure anti-larvae spray and cleanliness for preventing dengue and other communicable diseases,” he said.
The chief minister reiterated
that malnourished families, who are willing to rear cows and have space for them, should be given cows from various cow shelters and also provided Rs 900 per month, per cow.
“The officers informed the CM that so far 1,052 malnourished families had been provided with cows under the scheme,” the press release stated.
