LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath will launch the Covid test centre locator app on Saturday, according to an official statement.

This app will enable patients to locate a Covid testing centre easily within a five-kilometre range, said officials of the department of medical heath and family welfare (DMHFW). The state government had earlier launched the Ayush Kavach Covid app and the Chikitsa Setu app.

The user can see the testing centres on the new app through a map or list view and also get details of the centre like the timings and the type of test done there. The app will be district/city level.

A field level user can download the mobile app from the director general medical health (DGMH) website http:// dgmhup.gov.in.

To upload information about a centre, the field level officer will capture details like GPS location and building/test centre name, cell phone number, landline number and pin code on his mobile app.

Once the details of the testing centres are captured on the mobile app, it will show on the web portal of the district administration. The dashboard can be accessed through the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) ctc.upcovid19tracks.in. After the testing centre is approved, the district administration will also activate it and it will start showing on the new app.

When the app is opened, all activated test centres within the vicinity will be shown on the map view. The user will also have the option of searching test centres through the search box for the address or test centre’s name.

The app can be downloaded from Google play store, besides the DGMH website.
