Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal to organise 500 webinars
VARANASI: Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal (BSM), an organisation associated with Rastriya Swaym Sevak Sangh (RSS), will organise 500 webinars, including five in BHU, on role of teachers in implementing National Education Policy (NEP).
The aim of webinar is to find out concrete suggestions for drawing a strategy of effective implementation of NEP.
Prominent academicians and professors of different subjects ranging from physical sciences to social sciences, mathematics, humanities, and languages will be invited to share their ideas and suggestions for implementing the NEP, said Dr Anil Singh, public relation chief BSM Kashi region. Dr Singh said that the webinars will be organised in all IITs, and central universities and institute of excellence. Webinars will begin in first week of February.
All 500 webinars are to be completed by mid of March. Preparations for the webinars have been completed.
There is plan to promote languages, including Hindi, Sanskrit and other prominent Indian languages, said Dr Singh. He along with Dr Santosh Singh, secretary BSM Kashi region, contacted a number of professors of different universities in the region and appealed to them to cooperate in organising the webinars.
Dr Singh said that after each webinar, suggestions and ideas of prominent professors will be noted down and a report will be prepared. He further said that first five webinars would be held in BHU.
“We are all set to organise five webinars to create awareness regarding NEP. We will discuss the prominent role of teachers in the implementation of the NEP. Each webinar will be of around three hours,” dean, faculty of social sciences BHU, Prof Kaushal Kishore Mishra said.
