Cops to probe how solver gang members got their govt jobs
PRAYAGRAJ: After busting the solvers gang involved in Central Teachers Eligibility Test examinations, police now plan to probe whether the accused themselves had secured jobs through unfair means. The accused includes three teachers and an engineer in a government department.
Meanwhile, raids are also being carried out to arrest the agent and another person who used to forge admit cards of the aspirants.
Special task force (STF) officials are further questioning the accused to know about the involvement of other persons in the racket.
Officials have also informed the education department officials about the involvement of government teachers in the racket.
SHO Colonelganj police station, Inspector Vinit Singh said police was collecting details about those arrested and their links with other gangs .
“We will also investigate if the accused themselves used unfair means to get jobs,” he said.
STF Prayagraj recently busted a gang that was involved in providing unfair means and solvers to the aspirants of Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) examinations.
Six persons were arrested from Dhumanganj and Colonelganj areas of Prayagraj and forged admit cards along with cheques and cash was recovered from them.
Those arrested were identified as Prashant Singh of Prayagraj, who is presently a teacher at government Intermediate College in Amroha, Dharmendra Singh, a primary school teacher in Rae Bareili, Shivpujan Patel of Pratapgarh who is presently working as engineer at RSPL in Haridwar, Munesh Kumar Chauhan of Amroha, a private school teacher and a solver Puja Devi of Fatehpur who is also a government teacher at a primary school in Bindki.
