Getting maximum people inoculated state government’s priority, says CM
LUCKNOW : Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday expressed satisfaction over having 98% Covid-19 recovery rate in the state and gave directives for keeping arrangements for protection against and treatment of Covid-19 up to the mark in UP.
He said adequate precaution should be taken at every level as any laxity in this regard may prove costly. Yogi was reviewing the Covid-19 situation at a highlevel meeting here. He said getting maximum number of persons vaccinated against Covid-19 was the priority of state government.
The CM said integrated command and control centres should be used for vaccination of frontline workers.
CM for BSL-4 labs
The CM also stressed upon the need for setting up BSL-4 labs in UP. He said BSL-3 level labs had been set up in the state during the period of fight against Covid and this work should be taken forward and BSL-4 labs should now be set up. A work plan should be formulated and action should be taken in this regard in a time-bound manner, he said.
Increase beds in trauma centres
Yogi said the number of beds should be increased in trauma centres of Lucknow and medical treatment system be strengthened further in UP. OPD, surgeries and other medical treatment work should be carried out expeditiously in all hospitals, he added.
He said the state government was committed to provide all possible relief to families of victims of Uttarakhand tragedy. Officers of district administration should get in touch with affected families to help them.
