Covid jab: Lucky draw to motivate frontline workers
VARANASI : In order to motivate frontline workers to get themselves vaccinated, the health department will organise a lucky draw and award those who take both the doses of Covid vaccine on time, said an official. Additional chief medical officer (admn) Dr NP Singh said each person is given a card with a slip soon after the first dose. “The card carries date of the second dose, name, age of the beneficiary. After administering second dose to the beneficiary, health department keeps a part of slip with and gives the card to each beneficiary. Any beneficiary is considered to be vaccinated only when he is administered first and second dose as per schedule,” said Dr Singh. He said a lucky draw will be organized wherein three benefeciaries who took both the doses of vaccine as per schedule would be given prizes.

Deputy registrar (academic) is member secretary of the board. Prof SK Upadhyay is its vice president. In the press note issued by Dr Rajesh Singh, public relation officer BHU, the main function of the board will be to lay down general admission policy which takes into consideration measures to be adopted for reducing pressures on the university system and laying down minimum eligibility of admission to various courses.
