Marathon runner Ghanshyam reaches Ayodhya from Somnath
LUCKNOW : Marathon runner Ghanshyam Sudani reached Ayodhya on Thursday, completing his Somnath to Ayodhya run in 23 days. Champat Rai, general secretary of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust, welcomed Ghanshyam and presented him a model of Ram temple. Ghanshyam had started his 1800 km run from Somnath to Ayodhya on March 30.
He is also famous for his ‘Sankalp se Siddhi’ Gir-Somnath marathon. A team of volunteers, including physiotherapist Dr Deep Khani, accompanied Ghanshyam in a four-wheeler. The entire team is staying at Karsevakpuram in Ayodhya. “Marathon runner Ghanshyam reached Ayodhya today after completing his 1800 km run from Somnath temple in Gujarat,” said Champat Rai. “Ghanshyam’s motive for this run is to spread the message of unity and integrity in the country,” said Rai. Ghanshyam belongs to Pipalwal village in Khambha tehsil of Amreli district.
