POLICE OFFICIALS VISIT NAINI OXYGEN PLANT, INSTRUCT SMOOTH SUPPLY

PRAYAGRAJ: Senior police officials visited the oxygen plant in Naini area and instructed that a smooth supply of oxygen cylinders to Covid-19 hospitals in the district be maintained, on Thursday.

IG, range, KP Singh; SSP Sarvshrestha Tripathi and SP transYamuna Saurabh Dixit inspected the different sections of the oxygen plant and spoke to the plant authorities. The officials discussed the problems faced by the staff in production, storage and distribution of oxygen cylinders and assured the police of providing all help at their disposal.

The police officials instructed the Naini police to ensure security at the oxygen plant and provide immediate assistance to the plant staff in case of need.

The senior police officials later held a meeting and issued instructions to subordinates to ensure all wear masks and follow other Covid-19 protocols. The officials said that lanes and localities that have been sealed should have no movement of vehicles and people. Action should be taken if anyone violates the rules. Amid the Covid-19 threat, social distancing should be followed at markets and shops, they said.
