INCREASE DOCS, PGI RDA TO CM
LUCKNOW : The Resident Doctors Association of SGPGIMS, in a letter to chief minister Yogi, has asked for an increase in the number of doctors before increasing the number of beds in any government hospital. The letter signed by president of Resident Doctors’ Association Dr Akash Mathur and general secretary Dr Anil Gangwar said that a number of posts of senior residents in government hospitals were lying vacant which must be filled. The letter said that the Ayush hospitals must be converted into L1 and L2 hospitals, besides using hotels as hospitals. The resident doctors have recommended roping in MBBS students for creating awareness and contact tracing. The students can also collect samples. The RDA has also written to charge those who opt for private wards and has proposed construction of a hospital at the place where defence expo was organized.
