CM inspects black fungus ward at SSL Hospital in Kashi
VARANASI : Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday inspected the post-Covid ward at the department of Ayurveda at Sir Sundar Lal Hospital (SSL) of the Institute of Medical SciencesBanaras Hindu University where black fungus patients are being treated and the Pandit Rajan Mishra Covid hospital at BHU amphitheatre ground.
During the inspection, Yogi interacted with the attendant of a black fungus patient and asked if the patient was getting proper care and treatment, to which he received a reply in the affirmative. The CM instructed the doctors to provide proper treatment to every patient. He reviewed the Covid management in all four districts of Varanasi division — Varanasi, Jaunpur, Ghazipur and Chandauli. The chief minister arrived in Varanasi after reviewing Covid-19 management in Azamgarh where he inspected Covid-19 care centre and paid a surprise visit to Bijuara village.
Ensure medical aid, food: Yogi
In Azamgarh, CM said officials must ensure that adequate medical aid and food is provided to every person in need.
He interacted with a newly elected village pradhan and advised him to work with the cooperation of the citizens, representatives, administrators and district officials.He assured all possible assistance in terms of medicines, medical equipment, availability of ambulance and oxygen cylinders for Covid treatment and foodgrains. The CM also went on the inspection of the village where he interacted with the members of the surveillance committees. Thereafter, he met the ASHA workers and took a detailed report regarding the medical facilities available in the village.
