VARANASI: Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief Om Prakash Rajbhar on Monday said that the BJP would lose assembly elections in 2022 if the UP government failed to implement the recommendations of the social justice committee.

Rajbhar was speaking at the convention of Rashtra Uday Party, an ally of Bhagidari Sankalp Morcha in Varanasi. The morcha comprises 10 parties, including SBSP and Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM.

He said the SBSP had been demanding division of 27 % OBC reservation into three categories as Pichda Varg (Backward Class) at 7%, the Ati Pichda (Most Backward Class) at 9%, and the Atyant Pichda (Extremely Backward) at 11%.

Social justice committee, which was formed by the state government, submitted its report three years ago recommending the division of 27 % OBC reservation into three categories.

But the state government, led by the BJP, is not implementing the recommendations. If the BJP doesn’t implement these recommendations, the BJP will lose the election in 2022.

He said that he is the leader who has been raising voice for the welfare of the OBC.

He alleged that the OBC leaders, who are ministers in the government, are engaged in nepotism. They are strengthening their brothers and nephews.

The OBC community will not believe any of these leaders’ words. The community knows who is theirwell-wisher in true sense, Rajbhar said.

He said the youths need employment. If they have employment, they will be able to manage everything for them.

Rashtra Uday Party president Baburam Pal said the Pal community was used during last 74 years. No Party took care of them. Now the community will support the Bhagidari Sankalp morcha for its welfare.

SBSP chief Om Prakash Rajbhar, a former minister in the Yogi Adityanath government, said he was ready to give 125 seats to his coalition partner AIMIM against its chief Owaisi’s demand of 100 seats.

Reacting to Owaisi’s claim that his All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen would contest on 100 seats, Rajbhar said he did not have any talks yet with Owaisi on seat sharing.

Rajbhar, however, said there was no problem on the seatsharing in the new coalition. He also exuded confidence that Bhagidari Sankalp Morcha will form the next government in Uttar Pradesh after the next assembly elections.
