PRAYAGRAJ: The Aam Aadmi Party will take out ‘Rozgar Guarantee Padyatra’ from Prayagraj to Lucknow from July 1, which will be flagged off by MP Sanjay Singh, said AAP state co-in-charge Abhinav Rai and AAP Chhatra Sabha president Vanshraj Dubey, at a press conference, on Tuesday.

The in-charge of the march, Abhinav Rai, said that the state government has betrayed the youth.

“Only eight months are left in the completion of the tenure of Yogi government but the promise of providing 13 lakh jobs to the youth in 90 days made by the government is still to be fulfilled. The BJP lured the youth to vote but withdrew from its promise once it came to power. The youth were misled on the pretext of filling up forms for different vacancies during the last four years while charging heavy amounts from them in the name of application fee,” Dubey alleged.

Dubey said that the ‘Rozgar Guarantee Padyatra’ will begin from Chandrashekhar Azad Park with aspirants of different government vacancies. MP Sanjay Singh will flag off the march and will himself participate in it. The yatra will cover 20 kilometres every day and will reach Lucknow in 10 days, where a draft of demands of the youth will be prepared. The draft will be presented and issues of the youth will be raised in parliament by MP Sanjay Singh.

AAP city president Sanjeev Mishra, rural district president Altaf Ahmad, vice president of trader cell Mohammad Qadir, district general secretary Sarvesh Yadav and other AAP leaders were present at the briefing.
