ZURICH AIRPORT, NIAL INK PACT FOR DEVELOPMENT OF NOIDA INT’L AIRPORT
LUCKNOW : Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday stated that the process of construction of the Noida International Airport was expedited with the Zurich Airport International signing shareholder agreement with the Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL), an entity of the state government.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to the lay foundation stone of the project next month. With this agreement, process to transfer 1334 hectares of land to the NIAL by the state government for a 90-year lease for the Jewar Airport has been completed.
The shareholder agreement between airport developer company Zurich Airport International (AG), Yamuna International Airport Pvt Ltd, a 100 percent subsidiary of Zurich Airport International and NIAL was formalised at the virtual ceremony in presence of CM Yogi Adityanath.

The Yamuna International Airport Pvt Ltd has been incorporated as a special purpose vehicle to develop the Greenfield Noida International Airport at Jewar. “The signing of the shareholder agreement is the next step in the direction of progress for the state. The airport will be the benchmark for a modern, world-class airport in India,” said CM Yogi Adityanath.
