Note feedback of applicants in Samadhan register, says CP
VARANASI: Commissioner of police (CP) A Satish Ganesh on Saturday instructed police officers to document the feedback of applicants in the Samadhan Diwas register of every police station under the Varanasi police commissionerate area.
Ganesh inspected the Cantt police station and scrutinized various registers.
He said that police officials have been instructed to remain present at police stations on Samadhan diwas and ensure quick disposal of the complaints. They have also been asked to take feedback of the complainant or applicant, ask him if he was satisfied with the action taken to dispose of the complaint and, if not what else he wanted. Instruction has been given to note down the feedback of every complainant.
“Note down feedback of the applicant in Samadhan Diwas register,” instructed the commissioner of police.
Out of 41 applications received at all the police stations, six were disposed of immediately, police and revenue teams were sent to the spot for inspecting nine matters. Besides, cases were filed in three instances, and required communication was conducted

CP holds meeting with political parties district presidents
A day after holding the meeting public representatives, Commissioner of Police A Satish Ganesh, on Friday, held a meeting with district unit presidents of various political parties and informed them about the organisational structure of the police commissionerate.
Ganesh informed the district unit presidents about police officers posted in the Varanasi police commissionerate and their roles. He informed them that for the permission of any programme, the political parties would have to apply to the office of additional CP law and order Anil Kumar Singh.
He asked the district unit presidents that they may call him in case of any problem.
