PRAYAGRAJ : Allahabad University (AU) is all set to conduct the second/improvement examination of its students and those of its constituent colleges who have been promoted in the final year of their graduation programmes in 2020-21 session. Along with this, students of LLB and BA-LLB 5-year integrated course will also be giving their last semester examination.

As per AU’s controller of examination prof RK Singh, the examination will commence from August 2 in an online mode. Nearly 1600 students are appearing in these examinations and of which around 800 are of BA-LLB and LLB courses.

COE HAS ALSO APPEALED TO THE STUDENTS TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AS MENTIONED IN THE WEBSITE, ESPECIALLY THE FLOWCHART AND METHOD OF UPLOADING THEIR ANSWER SHEETS.

This year because of the pandemic, AU authorities had announced the result of final year of undergraduate courses in June wherein all the students were promoted. However, these promoted students of various courses, including BA, BSc and BCom, had been given the option of appearing in improvement examination if they were not satisfied with the marks awarded to them.

Around 800 students of different courses have opted to appear in the second examination, officials shared. AU authorities have decided that although this would be an improvement exam but their marksheet would not mention this term as is printed in earlier held second/improvement exams of previous years (pre-corona period).

Around 800 more students of BA-LLB integrated 5-year course and LLB will be appearing in their last semester examination. UG students appearing for the second examination and those of LLB and BA-LLB will be using the same roll number which was awarded to them earlier.

The admit card of BA-LLB and LLB (last semester examination) have been uploaded on AU website and the students can download their respective admit card from the website. CoE has also appealed to the students to follow the instructions as mentioned in the website, especially the flowchart and method of uploading their answer sheets.

A video has been uploaded on the website which will guide them to upload their answer sheets.
