UP Board orders completion of admissions by August 17

PRAYAGRAJ : UP Board has ordered all over 28,000 schools affiliated with it to ensure immediate registrati­on and admission of students who have passed class 10 this year in class 11 by August 17, if still pending.

UP Board officials have also ordered schools to complete the registrati­on and admission process for students, in their next classes, who have been promoted in classes 6, 7, 8, 9 and 11, if not yet completed, also by midnight of August 17.

UP Board has announced the results of class 10 and class 12 for 2021 on July 31, 2021. The state government through its order issued on June 30, 2021, had issued instructio­ns to open all secondary schools for administra­tive functionin­g in strict accordance with the Covid-19 protocol from July 1, 2021. The state government through its order dated August 5, 2021, had also instructed to undertake a time-bound exercise and complete the registrati­on/admission process of students who have passed class 10 this year in class 11 within a week. Likewise, orders were also issued to complete the registrati­on/admission process of students in their next grade who have been granted promotion in classes 6, 7, 8, 9 and 11 if still incomplete,” UP Board secretary Divyakant Shukla has said in the statement issued on August 10, 2021.

The order is sent to principals of all UP Board schools and to all additional secretarie­s (secondary education) stations at UP Board’s regional offices of Prayagraj, Varanasi, Bareilly, Meerut and Gorakhpur and district inspector of schools (DIOSs) among others.
