UGI to host alumni reunion today

PRAYAGRAJT: The United Group of Institutio­ns (UGI), Naini, will welcome its passed out students on its campus during an alumni meet ‘Sangam-2021’ on Saturday.

The programme is expected to witness alumni of the institutio­n settled across the country and abroad, informed head of corporate relations centre (CRC), United Group of Institutio­ns Divya Bartaria.

She said the meet will begin at 3pm with the first phase of welcome greetings, photo sessions, campus visits and funfilled activities at United College of Engineerin­g and Research (UCER) campus followed by the second phase of ‘Sangam’ to be conducted inside the auditorium from 5pm to 7pm.

This will comprise of welcome speech by the President of UGI Jagdish Gulati, an address by vice-chairman Satpal Gulati followed by a presentati­on on ‘The Legacy of United Group’ by the head of corporate relations, UGI Divya Bartaria, cultural performanc­es, games, memories sharing along with a panel discussion involving select alumni who will also be representi­ng their respective areas of expertise.

Vice-president of United Group of Institutio­ns Gaurav Gulati will propose the vote of thanks, informed United Group of Institutio­ns officials.

During this second phase, United Group would also be honouring distinguis­hed alumni for their achievemen­ts and accomplish­ments. A vote of thanks would be proposed by vice-chairman United Group of Institutio­ns, Satpal Gulati.

In the third phase of Sangam2021, alumni will celebrate nostalgic and enthusiast­ic moments with rocking live performanc­e by Tarkash, a Delhibased band, added United Group of Institutio­ns PRO, Rajesh Srivastava.

He said the cultural head of United Group of Institutio­ns Ajay Sharma will oversee all cultural activities to be organised during the alumni meet.
