Social welfare Min hails Adityanath’s development work
GORAKHPUR: Minister for social welfare and minister of SC & ST welfare Ramapati Shastri hailed CM Yogi Adityanath rule and listed all the development work carried out in the last 4.5 years.
“Gorakhpur is on the path of development. Fertilizer plant, which was closed for more than two and half decades, became operational and AIIMS was established in Chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s city. Pipraich sugar mill became operational with a view of creating more employment opportunities for the locals. Yogi’s government-provided benefits to all including poor, women, youth, farmers and he is on earth to make the dream of Ram Rajya true,” Shastri said during a press conference in Gorakhpur.
The government has worked for all and changed the identity of the city which was once associated with crime and mafia, the minister said.
“Today Gorakhpur is connected to the country with road, rail and air, which is necessary for the development. During the past 4.5 years, Gorakhpur bagged many projects from which many have been already completed and others are on the verge of completion. By December, hopefully 300 more projects will be completed,” the minister added.
“The state government worked on the development of tourist places and today there are many places like Gorakhnath temple, Gita Press, Ramgarhtal lake, Nauka Vihar, Surajkund Dham, Shaheed Ashfaqullah Khan Zoo which are attracting tourists and will soon become a tourists hub, he said.
The minister added Gorakhpur has managed to reduce the death rate due to encephalitis and free ration to the poor, COVID vaccination drive and a plan to establish a medical college in each district are few examples of the state government’s good work.
