Process to fill up teachers’ posts in govt-aided Sanskrit schools begins
PRAYAGRAJ: The interview of eligible candidates vying for the post of contractual assistant teachers for modern subjects in government-aided Sanskrit schools of the district began at the Government Inter College, Prayagraj on Monday.
Earlier, interviews of Sanskrit teachers for 53 vacant posts were held GIC-Prayagraj between October 6 and October 9. These included 16 posts of Sanskrit literature, 20 of Sanskrit grammar and 17 of modern subjects.
These interviews are part of the state-wide recruitment process of teachers against more than 1000 vacant posts in around 500 government-aided Sanskrit secondary schools across Uttar Pradesh (UP). Interviews for governmentaided Sanskrit schools are being held in the same districts where vacancies exist.
District inspector of Schools (DIOS)-Prayagraj RN Vishwakarma said interviews for recruiting teachers (modern subjects) at government-aided Sanskrit schools of Prayagraj have started at GIC-Prayagraj and will continue till Tuesday (October 12).
In all there are 18 vacancies. On Monday, a six-member panel comprising two external experts, a representative of the district magistrate, DIOS, school manager and deputy Inspector of Sanskrit schools interviewed 165 candidates out of the total 205 candidates who were called for Hindi subject on Day 1, officials said.
On Tuesday 243 candidates have been called for interviews of teachers for Hindi, English and History, they added.
The first day saw interviews being conducted for vacant posts of teachers (modern subjects) existing at Shri Shyam Lal Shukla Sanskrit Secondary School Ayodhya in Koraon, Shri Krishna Sanskrit Pathshala at Khadarhan-Ka-Pura village, Sirsa, Subodhini Sanskrit Pathshala, Manda, Shrinath Sanskrit Pathshala, Sirsa, Shri Gangeshwar Sanskrit Veda Vidyalaya, Jhunsi, Ram Sumer Tiwari Sanskrit Secondary School located at Nari Bari as well as Shri Krishna Pranami Sanskrit Secondary School of Meja.
On Tuesday, interviews would be conducted for vacancies existing at Bhagwatdeshik Sanskrit Secondary School located at Narsingh Mandir, Daraganj, Shri Bajrang Sanskrit School, Devli, Phulpur, Shri Maharishi Panini Sanskrit School, Barokhar (Koraon), Shri Shiv Sanskrit Vidyalaya, Saidabad, Kamalakar Sanskrit Pathshala, Shankargarh, Shri Teerthraj Sanyasi Secondary Sanskrit School, Jhunsi and Shri Hanumant Sanskrit Higher Secondary School, Rambagh.
