CBI OFFICIALS HAVE REPEATEDLY QUESTIONED THOSE WHO WERE SAID TO BE CLOSEST TO MAHANT GIRI

PRAYAGRAJ CBI officials have now turned their attention towards the sewadars and persons close to Mahant Narendra Giri in a bid to get clues about his death. They are being questioned by the officials using scientific methods to smoke out the truth. CBI officials have also taken samples of their handwriting and have sent them to FSL for examination.

A team of CBI officials has been going to Baghambari Gaddi Math every day, to question the sewadars and disciples considered close to Mahant Narendra Giri. The questioning is being carried out on points related to disputes involving Math properties and Mahant Narendra Giri’s relations with Anand Giri and other disciples. So far, CBI has not made anyone else accused in the case except for Anand Giri, Aadya Tiwari and his son Sandeep. The officials are trying to get inputs that may help them in unravelling other enmities of Mahant Narendra Giri and disputes regarding Math properties.

In the last few days, CBI officials have repeatedly questioned those who were said to be closest to Mahant Narendra Giri. Repeated questioning from persons has revealed that one Sumit Tiwari was closest to Mahant during his last days. Tiwari was the one who opened the door of the room where Mahant’s body was found hanging. CBI officials on Sunday questioned Tiwari again. He was asked about his routine and the sequence of events on the day Mahant’s body was found in his room. He was also questioned about Mahant’s temper and behaviour besides his daily routine.

Meanwhile, CBI officials are also examining the handwriting of all the sewadars and disciples of Mahant Narendra Giri. Officials have taken samples of their handwriting and sent them to FSL for further examination. It is worth mentioning here that Mahant Narendra Giri used to only put his signatures on applications or other documents, which were usually written by his disciples and sewadars. Now, samples of their handwriting will be matched with the handwriting on the purported suicide note found in the room.
