Over 51.27 lakh students to appear in UP Board HS, Inter exams 2022

PRAYAGRAJ: More than 51.27 lakh students will appear in the UP Board High School and Intermedia­te Examinatio­n-2022. Over 27.70 lakh students have registered for the high school exams2022 while another over 23.56 lakh students have registered for intermedia­te exams, said UP Board officials.

As per the registrati­ons, the number of examinees registered for the 2022 edition of high school and intermedia­te exams has decreased by around 4.76 lakh as compared to last year.

In 2021, a total of 56,03,813 candidates had registered for the board exams including 29,94,312 for class 12 examinatio­n and another 26,09,501 for class 10 exams while this time total high school registrati­ons stand at 27,70,772 while the registrati­ons in class 12 is 23,56,971 amounting to a total of 51,27,743, UP Board officials shared.

In terms of advance registrati­ons for 2022 exams, around 31.78 lakh students have registered in class 9 and another around 26.62 lakh have registered for class 11 this time, accounting to a total of 58,40,608 advance registrati­ons, they added.

“The last date for online filling of the examinatio­n forms of UP Board’s high school and intermedia­te examinatio­n-2022 and for advance registrati­on of class 9 and class 11 was earlier October 6 but it was first extended till

October 16 so that candidates submit the forms with late fee of Rs 100 till October 19. The last date was yet again extended till November 8 on request of the school principals,” said UP Board secretary Divyakant Shukla. The UP Board Exams2022 are expected to be held from last week of March 2022. However, the state government and UP Board are yet to announce the dates till now.

Till October 19, around 27.70lakh candidates had registered for class 10 exam while another 23.42 lakh had registered for class 12 exam. Likewise, in terms of advance registrati­ons, 31.14 lakh students had registered in class 9 and another 26.04 lakh had registered for class 11 till October 19.
