BJP names co-ordinators for event, names Tarun Chugh as main co-ordinator
VARANASI : The associated programmes of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 13 will continue for more than a month (January 14, 2022).
To ensure a smooth and hitch-free schedule, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has named ministers and officebearers as points men for each of the events following the KV Corridor inauguration.
BJP general secretary Tarun Chugh will be the coordinator of the live broadcast of the inauguration of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor by PM Modi, as well as of the programmes to be held as part of inaugural ceremony, said Kashi region BJP president Mahesh Chandra Srivastava.
Srivastava said that live streaming of the entire inaugural ceremony of KV Corridor will be done in 20,000 temples all over the country on December 13.
UP tourism minister Dr Neelkanth Tiwari and UP BJP state co-in-charge Sunil Ojha have been made coordinators at the state level and local level, Srivastava added.
Srivastava said that MP and state general secretary Subrata Pathak will be the coordinator for the chief ministers’ conference to be held from December 13 to 14.
Union minister for urban affairs Hardeep Puri, UP urban development minister Ashutosh Tandon will be the coordinators for the conference of mayors scheduled to be held in Kashi on December 17 at the national and state, respectively.
A national seminar on organic farming conference and cow-based farming will be organised in Kashi on December 23. Union agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar and UP agriculture minister Surya Pratap Shahi will be its coordinator at the national and state level, respectively.
Under the Divya Kashi, grand Kashi campaign, coordinators have been made at the national,
state and local levels for various events to be held in Kashi for a month, said Srivastava.
Kashi region BJP spokesperson Navratan Rathi said that buildings will be decorated with ornamental lighting and earthen diyas will be lit at temples, Matths, ghats and houses for three days from December 12. Coordinators of the other prorgammes have also been appointed.
