Five temples at SSU to be developed on KV Temple model: V-C
VARANASI : Sampurnanand Sanskrit University (SSU) vice-chancellor Prof Hareram Tripathi has said that the Panch Mandir (five temples) in the courtyard of the university will be developed on the lines of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple model with the help of a US-based engineer.
Prof Tripathi said Sanatan Dharma culture is the most ancient culture of the world. Engineer Raman Tripathi, who is settled in America, is working to spread Sanatan Dharma and Vedic principles at the global level and connecting Indian people for a better India and better world.
Tripathi has assured the SSU of all possible help in the beautification of the university’s courtyard, rejuvenation and restoration of the five temples on the campus through the ‘Trident Seva Samiti Trust’ set up by him. The objective is to support ashrams and Vedic education in India and to promote the principles of Sanatan Dharma and to repair 1001 temples. Saplings will also be planted on the university campus.
According to a statement from SSU, Tripathi said, “We are ready to give all possible help for the restoration, renovation and beautification of the premises of SSU. As part of it, renovation and beautification of the five temples, established at the northern end of the SSU is being done. These will be developed on the model of Baba Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Along with this, all possible help and cooperation will be given in the all-round development work of the university.” Tripathi said that along with this, the temple established in the vice-chancellor’s residence, Sati Mata Mandir, will be developed as a model.
SSU public relations officer Shashindra Mishra said that there is a plan to make the SSU campus a model green campus.
