STF has named seven persons in the case among which Zaid is at large and reward of Rs 50,000 has been declared on him. One of the shooters Yasir was killed in gangwar in Pratapgarh earlier. Now Alok Sinha who was granted bail will be arrested under Gangster Act.

The murder was cracked after four and half years by STF. Officials said that education mafia Alok Sinha was sent to jail in a case of fraud by Dr Bansal. Police claimed that to avenge this, Sinha arranged shooters with help of Dilip Mishra, Akhtar Katra and others while in jail.

STF had claimed Alok Sinha, who hails from Bihar, was the mastermind of the killing. However, Sinha failed to get the admission done and even refused to return the money. On Dr Bansal’s complaint, police arrested Sinha.

STF claimed that Sinha subsequently came in contact with gangster Dilip Mishra and history sheeter Akhtar Katra in jail and with their help arranged shooters from Pratapgarh to kill Dr Bansal in return of Rs 70 lakh.
