1827 complaints registered through outreach camps in NCR

PRAYAGRAJ : As many as 1827 complaints have been registered at outreach camps organised at Agra, Prayagraj and Jhansi in order to know the concerns of candidates appearing in Railway Recruitmen­t Board’s (RRB) Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) and RRC level-1 examinatio­ns.

These camps were opened by RRB-Allahabad and North Central Railway (NCR) to facilitate candidates having concerns regarding recruitmen­t methodolog­y. The camps were organised from January 28 to February 16, 2022.

During this period, a total of 128 candidates (including 10 in Agra, 17 in Jhansi- and 101 in Prayagraj) visited the outreach camps, said chief public relation officer of NCR Shivam Sharma.

Candidates (1087) also registered their concerns through Google link and 612 emails have also been received till February 16, he added.

The high-powered committee formed by the Railway Board to look into the concerns of candidates visited Prayagraj on February 12 at the outreach camp to interact with the candidates and sought their suggestion­s on the recruitmen­t methodolog­y. Around 100 candidates, who appeared in various examinatio­ns of Railways, attended the session at Coral Club and had registered their concerns before the committee.

“All these concerns submitted at these camps has been compiled and sent to the highpowere­d committee. After examining these concerns committee is expected to submit their recommenda­tions by first week of March,” said Sharma.

Apart from these outreach camps, orientatio­n sessions were also organized for new trainees of Act Apprentice. Candidates who have undergone apprentice with Railways will get preference on 20% of seats in RRC Level-1 exam.
