Allahabad University CRET-2021 registration begins
PRAYAGRAJ : Allahabad University declared the schedule of its combined research entrance test (CRET) 2021 session for the admission in PhD courses against the number of vacant seats available at AU and its constituent colleges, here on Saturday.
According to AU public relations officer (PRO), Prof Jaya Kapoor, CRET-2021 will be conducted in 41 subjects having a total of 614 vacant seats including 227 at Allahabad University and 387 seats at constituent colleges.
CRET will be conducted in an offline mode at Prayagraj only and registration form submission will start from April 24, she said.
The last date for fee submission and registration is May 16, she added.
Wards of teachers of Allahabad University and constraint collages, army personnel and foreign candidates are exempted from the level-1 test of CRET but they must appear in the level-2 test.
Level-1 of CRET-2021 will consist of two papers with a total of 300 marks including paper 1 of 100 marks that will have 50 objective type questions of two marks each including 25 questions from research methodology and 25 questions from the subject concerned. exam of 13 questions. There will be no negative marking on it.
The fee structure for applying for the general category, other backward category and economically weaker section will be Rs 1600.
For those of SC/ST and physically handicapped, the fee would be Rs 800, informed the PRO.
