‘PM Modi’s road show in Kashi to give glimpse of mini India’
VARANASI : BJP national general secretary Sunil Bansal said here on Wednesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s road show scheduled in Varanasi on May 13 would set a new trend, giving a glimpse of a miniature India. People of different communities living on the banks of the Ganga would welcome him and the amazing scene would give the message of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’.
Bansal was addressing a meeting of BJP workers and senior officials associated with the arrangements for PM Modi’s road show.
Bansal reviewed the road show preparations and gave necessary guidelines, saying it should be historic .
He said that all the people’s representatives and senior BJP officials should go door to door with the booth committee and invite Kashi residents to come to the road show.
Eleven beats have been made from Malviya statue to Kashi Vishwanath Dham for the Prime
Minister’s road show and the responsibility of these 11 beats has been handed over to the people’s representatives and senior BJP officials.
People of different . communities will welcome PM Modi in their traditional attire and flowers will be showered on him. People of Kashi will welcome Modi with shehnai, shankhnaad and damru beats . Along with this, cultural programmes will be organized at various places. Route inspected
To check preparations for the road show of Modi to be held on May 13, members of election management committee inspected the route late night on Tuesday said Kashi region BJP spokesperson Navratan Rathi.
A group of BJP leaders walked to Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham from Malviya statue in Lanka. Arrangements were checked at Assi, Sonarpura, Bengali Tola, Madanpura, Jangam Bari, Godaulia, Bansphatak and Vishwanath Corridor, added Rathi.
