Preparatio­ns underway for PM Modi’s Kashi roadshow on May 13

VARANASI : At least 11 publicity vehicles have been deployed to invite the residents of Kashi for the roadshow of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, scheduled to be held in Kashi on May 13. Lok Sabha coordinato­r and BJP MLC Ashwani Tyagi flagged off these vehicles from the central election office of PM Modi in Varanasi, located at Tulsi Udyan in Mahmoorgan­j.

On May 13, the roadshow will commence from BHU gate and conclude at the gate of Baba Kashi Vishwanath Dham, where PM Modi will offer prayers to Baba Kashi Vishwanath. The following morning, he will offer prayers to Baba Kaal Bhirav and file his nomination.

“On one hand, public representa­tives and senior BJP leaders of the BJP Kashi region are distributi­ng invitation letters doorto-door. On the other hand, Kashi residents are being informed and invited to the roadshow at major intersecti­ons and markets,” said Navratan Rathi, the spokespers­on for the BJP in the Kashi region.

Rathi stated that these publicity vehicles, decorated with hoardings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party flags, and banners, are inviting the people of Kashi to the roadshow at major markets and intersecti­ons in all five assembly constituen­cies of the Varanasi Lok Sabha.

He further added that the publicity vehicles will operate in all five assembly constituen­cies of the Varanasi parliament­ary seat to inform people about the roadshow and encourage them to participat­e. These assembly constituen­cies include Varanasi Cantt, Varanasi North, Varanasi South, Sewapuri, and Rohania.

Rathi also mentioned that preparatio­ns for the roadshow are in the final phase and will be completed by Sunday noon.
