Fastest pianist bring more laurels to Gurgaon
Felicitated with more than eight national and international awards, pianist Aman Bathla has recently been conferred with Golden Book of World Records, Unique World Records and Incredible Book of Records.
Last December, while playing 804 notes in one minute at his concert in Gurgaon, the pianist broke the Guinness Book of World Records of 765 notes. No wonder he is also the recipient of the title, World’s Fastest Pianist!
Born and brought up in a liberal business family of Gurgaon, Bathla’s professional excellence comprises a degree in sound engineering from Mumbai and a degree in Indian classical music. He further went to Trinity College, London for a master’s degree in western music. Bathla decided to take the plunge with his dream and devoted his life to the piano. “I’m blessed with the understanding of music and different instruments. My music has magical effects as the tone brings peace to listeners. It manages stress and anger too,” he says.
The skillful musician plays flute, drums, guitar, and mouth organ including 22 other musical instruments. “I never dreamt of being the fastest pianist. Opting for music as a career at the cost of my family business was not easy, but then I followed my passion. My love for piano gives me strength. When I play, I learn something new every day and rejoice in celebrating each moment spent with the piano,” he says.
