English rock band Pink Floyd started recording their second single See Emily Play in Chelsea, London. The band’s guitarist, Syd Barrett, was inspired to write the song, by the ‘looning about’ of the early Pink Floyd fan, Emily Young, who is now a renowned sculptor.
