The Veeres are set to take over!

As Veere Di Wedding gears up for release, all eyes are on this celebration of female bonding. While the Hindi film industry has churned out several blockbuster male-bonding films, such as Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Pyaar Ka Punchnama, here is a coming-of-age film that gives viewers a look at the intense friendship between women.

“Veere Di Wedding is a story about unadulterated friendship between four girls, who all want different things in life. It stands for a sentiment that resonates with the youth today, which is ‘Friends be like family’! It celebrates friendship and bonding like no other,” says producer Ekta Kapoor. With four diverse characters, portrayed by Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhasker, and Shikha Talsania, the film has rollocking moments and great drama.

Producer Rhea Kapoor says, “We got lucky with the casting. The girls got along like a house on fire and the camaraderie they shared off-screen reflects in their chemistry on-screen. They were just friends hanging out and having a great time while making a film they were all really excited about.”

Unlike many films where women are pitted against each other, this one celebrates buddyhood and promises a highly entertaining ride!
