WhatsApp could soon allow linking one account with two smartphones

WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will allow users to link a second smartphone with their WhatsApp account, according to WABetaInfo. There will be a new section called ‘Register Device as Companion’ which will let a user control their WhatsApp account from both the devices after linking. There is no fixed date for the release of this update.
