The two- day students’ counseling session by Hindustan Times Aspirations began on Saturday at The Ashok Hotel, with thousands of students flocking to seek help and guidance for choosing the right course and college after completing Class 12.

The registration for the second day of the event will start at 10.30am on Sunday at the same venue. The HT Campus Calling sessions saw several teams of eminent Delhi University teachers and counselor Usha Albuquerque helping students resolve their academic queries. “There are so many courses in DU but I was seeking specific information about my preferred subject. The counselling session with professors from Lady Irwin College and Lady Shri Ram was very helpful,” said one of the students.

According to experts, most students were curious about DU and asked many questions, their parents and guardians also participated enthusiastically.

Students often face a choice between courses and colleges. With 63 colleges and 52 courses up for grabs in DU, making a choice becomes difficult. The experts advised the students to identify their interest and go for it if they met the eligibility criteria.

The event also featured many national and inter national universities. The two-day educational extravaganza aims at providing a single gateway to an entire gamut of academic and professional courses available in the country and abroad.
