The aim was to share India’s experience and expertise in water resources, power and infrastructure development with friendly developing countries. With its own pool of engineers and scientists, WAPCOS now has a presence abroad with moderate growth in turnover over the years. Has the brand building got traction abroad?

Yes, the company now has a presence in 40 countries in Africa, the Middle East, South America and Asia and all states in India, up from just eight globally. We plan to procure business in Latin America and CIS countries in the near future. It is now a Mini Ratna-I ISO 9001:2008 accredited organisation aspiring to become a Schedule ‘A’ Navratna Company.

We specialise in identifying the project gaps and filling them to ensure the success of the project.

How has the financial performance of the company been?
