TWIST IN THE TITLE TALE
In the end, Leicester City’s (57 points) lead at the top remained intact as their title rivals dropped points on Wednesday night. With 10 matches to go, HT looks at how the battle for the Premier League crown is shaping up:
TOTTENHAM
With Leicester dropping points against West Brom, Spurs had an opportunity to head the top flight for the first time since 1964. But that wasn’t to be. They ran into a spirited West Ham on their home turf and came away 0-1 losers which also ended their sixgame winning run.

ARSENAL
The Gunners were suppose to have the easiest game among the challengers when they hosted Swansea City, who are fighting to keep out of the relegation zone. But Arsene Wenger’s team imploded, losing 2-1, and ended the night with fans booing them off the pitch at The Emirates.

MANCHESTER CITY
The strongest team on paper among the contenders, City have not been able to stitch together a good run of late. Defeat against Liverpool meant they lost their third straight game on the trot. Their only solace is a game in hand.

MANCHESTER UNITED
The indifferent form of challengers and some gritty performances have helped the Red Devils push closer to the top four. The 1-0 win over Watford helped them go level on points with City and are just four short off Arsenal’s tally.
