Old Delhi tour on wheels

Kashmere Gate Interchange
The new station will be an interchange point for Violet line also, apart from Red and Yellow lines. The subway between gate number 5 and 6 will be used by the public to cross Lala Hardev Singh Marg. One additional entry/exit, gate number 8, has been made at the station towards the proposed new ISBT
Jama Masjid station
The Jama Masjid station is close to the famous 17th century mosque, Jama Masjid built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan It will connect commuters with Kasturba hospital, Meena Bazaar Market, Parda Bagh, Mahavir Vatika. Station will have four entry / exits. Theme of the station is historical and its look has been accentuated with metal work and stone cladding
Delhi Gate station
Delhi Gate station is close to Delhi Gate, a 17th century monument built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. It will connect Maulana Azad Medical College, Feroz Shah Kotla stadium, LNJP Hospital, Ambedkar stadium There are five entry / exits. The interior of the station has been done in granite and steel
Lal Qila station
Lal Qila station is close to the famous 17th century Red Fort, which served as the residence of Mughal Emperors. It was built by Shah Jahan. It will connect with Lajpat Rai Markets, kiosks of Subhash Marg, Angoori Bagh, Jain Temple There are four entry / exits. The facade of the station is similar to the façade of Lal Qila and has been done in red sandstone
