Class 4 girl raped by minor in govt school

GURGAON: A Class 4 student of a government school in a village, 2 kilometres from Gurgaon-Faridabad expressway, was allegedly raped by another student of the same school.

The school principal came to know about the incident after the girl complained of pain in her private parts.

Although some people allegedly tried to hush up the matter the principal insisted on reporting the matter to the police. After medical examination at Gurgaon civil hospital, a case of rape was registered against the minor boy at DLF phase 1 police station.

The girl is being treated at the hospital.

Police said the accused and the girl live in the same village. The girl’s family hails from UP. The parents of the victim told the police that the accused had earlier molested the girl.

Ravinder Kumar, PRO, Gurgaon police, said a case of rape has been registered against the minor and the matter is being probed. “The accused would be arrested soon,” he added.
