DTCP to change zonal plan of Sector 79, seeks objections from residents
The department of town and country planning (DTCP) has sought objections for changing the zonal plan of Sector 79, after a developer requested the department to change the alignment of a 24-metre road passing through its site.
The objections can be submitted to the district town planner’s office in Sector 14 till November 20, as per a government order.
The department has sought objection to the proposed revision of sector plan in writing that should be filed within 30 days at the office of senior town planner in Sector 14 in Gurugram.
A direction issued by Makrand Pandurang, director, DTCP, said that the objections received shall be examined on the basis of merit and the comments on the same should be forwarded to his office within 15 days after the objections have have been filed. After this, a decision will be taken.
The issue of this 24-metre road has been delaying the development of the internal infrastructure in new Gurugram sectors, as the government has put the onus of developing these roads on developers.
