500 STUDENTS, TEACHERS IN KOTA QUARANTINED
KOTA: Over 500 students and teachers have been put under home quarantine in Rajasthan’s Kota after two teachers overseeing Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education examination (RBSE) examinations and a Class 10 student, who took them, tested Covid-19 positive, state health department officials said on Wednesday. Chief medical and health officer (Kota) Dr B S Tanwar said the Class 10 student, who has been hospitalised, appeared for the exams on Monday and on the day she was diagnosed with the disease--Tuesday. Her sample was taken for testing after her sister tested Covid-19 positive on Saturday. Tanwar said over 400 students and 50 teachers were put under home quarantine.
