Jasdev Singh Sandhu Foundation came in to being in the year 2001 as a mark of respect to Sardar Jasdev Singh Sandhu and Sardarni Jasdev Kaur Sandhu.
Sardar Jasdev Singh Sandhu - a visionary as he was, was farsighted enough to visualize that India marches ahead only if the rural masses are empowered. Sardar Jasdev Singh Sandhu and his wife, thus committed themselves to work for the rural betterment. S. Jasdev Singh Sandhu was elected five times and his wife, three times as MLA. Sardar Jasdev Singh Sandhu's personality was a fine blend of politics, academics and noble thoughts. In order to translate his vision and dreams into reality Sardar Tejinder Pal Singh Sandhu his son, founded 'Jasdev Singh Sandhu Foundation' after the tragic death of his father. Sardar Tejinder Pal Singh Sandhu, Chairman of the Trust is a Post-graduate in Journalism and a Goldmedalist in Law, followed the foot steps of his enlightened and illustrious father who himself was a great educationist. Jasdev Singh Sandhu Foundation has a host of institutions under its umbrella namely Jasdev Singh Sandhu Institute of Engg. & Tech., Jasdev Singh Sandhu College of Education, Jasdev Singh Sandhu Polytechnic, Jasdev Public School. These Institutes are located at -Kaulion Patiala-Chandigarh Highway ,Rajpura Road, Patiala, in a pollution free, lush green environment.
Jasdev Singh Sandhu Institute of Engg. & Tech. approved by AICTE and affiliated to Punjab Technical University offers BTech Civil & M Tech and other latest courses. JSSIET Group also coming up with new degree college( Affilated to Punjabi University Patiala) to provide good future aspects to studious students.
