JALANDHAR: Jammu and Kashmir deputy chief minister Nirmal Singh on Sunday said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will revoke the Article 370 whenever the party gets majority in the state.

Singh, who was here to participate in a private function, said it is difficult to revoke the Article under the coalition PDPBJP government.

He said the BJP’s stance on the issue has not changed.

On the repeated incidents of hoisting of Pakistan flags in Kashmir, Singh said some youths are being misguided by separatists.

He said the gover nment has taken cognisance of these incidents and action awould be takengainst those involved after proper investigation.

The J&K deputy chief minister said security forces have identified the youngsters engaged in hoisting Pakistani flags in the Valley. He also blamed the media for giving much coverage to those involved in flag-hoisting activities.

SAYS PARTY’S STANCE ON ISSUE HAS NOT CHANGED, BUT IT’S DIFFICULT TO REVOKE THE ARTICLE UNDER COALITION GOVT
