Seminar on pre-departure orientation held
JALANDHAR: Representatives of Sheridan College organised a seminar on pre-departure orientation in pyramid e-service on Saturday to make students aware of importance of education in foreign countries. The team from Sheridan included Philip Stubbs, associate dean faculty of applied science and technology, and Andrew Ness, director international services, to make students and their parents aware about studying in a new system and adjusting to new culture. Philip Stubbs said pre-departures orientation seminars will be held in India to prepare the student for the transition to Canadian life. This is also an opportunity for students and parents to meet with Sheridan team, he added.
