KILLER ROADS OF THE REGION

BE MORE CAREFUL WHILE DRIVING BETWEEN 6 PM AND 9 PM

-

Punjab and Haryana are notorious for reckless driving. The result: 13 persons each died in road mishaps on an average in the two states daily in 2014. While 4,875 persons were killed in 11,043 road accidents in Haryana last year, the chances of having a fatal accident are higher in Punjab where 4,621 died in 6,391 mishaps during the same period. Himachal Pradesh seems safer in comparison with fewer accidents (3,325) and fatalities (1,403). However, motorists and other commuters need to take extra care while travelling in the region between 6 pm and 9 pm because that’s when maximum number of road accidents occurred in Punjab and Haryana. Drive safely.
